About us
Guinness Hermitage was created in April 2007 with the amalgamation of the Parchment Group, Kennet Housing Society and The Guinness Trust west region.
The Parchment Group was created in 1997 as the non asset-owning parent company of Hermitage Housing Association, Hermitage Care and Gorseway Care, and began operating in April 1998. In April 2007 it changed its name to Guinness Hermitage Ltd.
In April 2002, it became a subsidiary of the Guinness Trust Group, now known as The Guinness Partnership, one of the country's leading affordable housing organisations which has been delivering affordable homes successfully for longer than almost any other organisation.
Our job is to create successful neighbourhoods - places where people with a range of incomes, backgrounds and ages can live together in homes that help each one of them achieve their ambitions.
